Hey everyone! I know I’ve been a little light on the posts this month, but it’s been a little busy around my house and I haven’t been able to get the things and stuff done to write proper posts for you! I also haven’t really been working out very much this month, as I mentioned in my last post, so I haven’t had anything to really post for a workout update either. I’ve been slightly boring this month!
So, let’s do a quick run-down of February, shall we?
I started this month with the best of intentions and post a little Valentine’s Day gift guide post for you guys. I’m still working on my coffee from Ground’s and Hounds and loving it a little more each time I drink it! If you’re looking to try a new coffee flavor, I suggest checking out their Madagascar Vanilla! The perfect blend of coffee, vanilla, and sweetness for me.
I also recapped my Yogapalooza adventure, and how sticking with it for 31 days straight really helped me with my little issue of motivation and willpower. After doing nothing more than some light stretching for the past month, I am more than ready to hit the mat for real in March.
Following that up, I posted about a recent trip to a new to us restuarant, Firebirds. The food was good, the service from the waitress was great, but the amount of time we sat there waiting for things (that were beyond the waitress’ control) was a little ridiculous! Check out my post for the full story.
Then I posted the most anti-Valentine’s day post ever, lol! I posted about why the constant rhetoric of loving yourself is kind of crap. But that hating yourself isn’t an option, either.
After all that, I was a little quiet on the blog and instagram front. I posted a little life update, and now this wrap up post. We are planning on wrapping up syrup making soon, likely this weekend. I’ve got my fly rod and reel all set up and I’ve had a casting lesson, so I’ve been practicing that and can’t wait to actually get out on the water and attempt to fish. Spring turkey season is right around the corner as well, so I need to get my bow out and start practicing. I’d like to actually make it out this year, so I need to be ready for that. I actually have content planned for March, so I won’t be leaving you hanging! I have a DIY post planned, as well as some workout posts coming up. I have a new eating plan in place for the month, and I’ve been planning out my menu for the first couple of weeks of March.
